Does database mirroring have any monitoring capabilities like Log shipping
to let the DBAs know the current status of the mirrored server i.e. how far
behind the principal it is,etc. ?

Monitor Database Mirroring
Does database mirroring have any monitoring capabilities like Log shipping
to let the DBAs know the current status of the mirrored server i.e. how far
